Athens Main Street

Athens Main Street is a non-profit organization committed to revitalizing the unique and artistic business district of downtown Athens, Alabama. The organization works alongside the City of Athens, the Athens Chamber of Commerce, and the McMinn County Economic Development Authority to develop strategies that are key components for economic development. The overall vision is to impact the economic status and improve the quality of life for all residents. The organization hosts various events and initiatives, including the Athens Farmers Market, Merchants Alley Happy Hour Music Series, and the Summer Sippin’ event.
